Started in 1990 after Kenneth Cox spent eight months watching a family member's contractor walk off a half-finished kitchen addition in Augusta—big deposit taken, deadlines missed repeatedly, eventually just stopped showing up entirely. What We Do
We handle complete home remodels including kitchens and bathrooms, new construction and custom home building from foundation to finish, and exterior work including roofing, siding, and deck construction. Most kitchen remodels take 3-4 weeks and bathrooms run 2-3 weeks, with projects ranging from $15,000 bathroom updates to $300,000+ custom builds across a 30-mile radius from Gardiner.

Kenneth C. founded the company in 1990 after six years working in residential construction across Maine. He personally manages all custom home builds and major renovation projects, ensuring every detail meets his standards before the crew moves to the next phase. Known throughout Kennebec Valley for finding practical solutions to tricky problems in older homes that most contractors won't touch.
Gayle C. - Office Manager and Accountant
Gayle C. has run office operations and accounting since 2005, bringing two decades of construction finance experience to every estimate. She manages all project budgets, scheduling, and client communications from initial quote through final invoice. Clients appreciate her straightforward explanations of costs and her ability to answer billing questions the same day they come up.
Seth L. - Project Manager & Estimator
Seth L. joined as project manager and estimator in 2012 after working eight years in commercial construction. He coordinates all job sites, manages material orders, and oversees crew schedules to keep projects on track. His detailed pre-construction estimates catch potential issues before they become expensive problems, which is why so many projects finish within budget.
